• Highlight the potential benefits of the Discovery Centre for the wider Havering community.

• Encourage the student to consider how they could utilise the space for skills, employment, and enterprise opportunities.

• Gather insight into what a young person would like to see from the Discovery Centre.

• The student had no prior awareness of the project, but engagement grew quickly once the practical benefits — skills development, employment pathways, and community impact,  were made tangible.

• A workshop explored how the Discovery Centre could serve both the wider community and young adults specifically. Contributions included career workshops, creative space, networking, and access to resources not otherwise available locally. 

• The students emphasised accessibility, inclusivity,
  and clear pathways into using the space.
