Rainham BID Meeting

Engagement Event - 29.05.2025

A comprehensive update was presented to the Rainham Business Improvement District (BID) group, outlining the progress and strategic objectives of the Havering project. The presentation covered key milestones achieved to date, provided an overview of upcoming phases, and highlighted opportunities for both community and business involvement.

The discussion underscored the project’s commitment to transparency, collaboration, and the vital role of local businesses in driving project success. Particular emphasis was placed on building long-term partnerships that create shared value for both the project and the surrounding business community.

Key areas noted for future action include:

Co-designing a more responsive and inclusive engagement strategy to ensure businesses within the BID area are consistently informed, consulted, and actively involved throughout the project lifecycle. Strengthening local economic impact by proactively integrating local businesses into the project’s supply chain wherever feasible.
