Havering Chamber of Commerce

Engagement Event - 30.10.2025

Cllr Williamson introduced the team to HCCI’s Executive Committee. An update was provided on the planned consultation starting late November, ahead of the LDO in February 2026. A request was made for a simple, digestible list of project activities and opportunities, which can be produced from the master programme.

A summary of upcoming site works was provided, covering S278 works, ecology park, data centre plots, primary substation, glasshouse works, and the district heating network. While broadly supportive, some attendees expressed scepticism, with reassurance given that S106 commitments will create local opportunities.
